Liberty Reborn

I wish to take this opportunity to wish Senator Ted Kennedy (D - Mass.) a quick and speedy recovery from his cancer and offer prayers that such will indeed be the case.

I will however not heap upon him unwarranted praise or false platitudes as some others have. He has spent much of his career in the United States Senate working to undermine the basic principles of America and personal liberty and is unworthy of such praise.  But he is still worthy of our compassion.

I can only hope that after he emerges from this terrible experience he will have gained insight into his past actions and clarity of thought which has eluded him thus far.
