Carbon Rationing – The New Marxist Ploy

Yes, good little Marxists everywhere are working hard to find a new way to reinstitute their repeatedly failed ideology yet again. In Britain, believe it or not, they are suggesting that the citizens be forced to carry “carbon ration cards” which would limit everything from the amount of gasoline one could buy or how far they could fly. Continue reading

Bang The Drum Slowly

It’s nighttime and the sky is dark. But do not worry. The sun will come up in the morning. But only if I pull out my trusty drum and bang on it. My family has been doing this ritual for eons and the technique has been passed down through my family over the years and the knowledge now resides in me. I’ll be happy to bang on my drum and bring the sun back up in the morning, but only if I am paid well for my services ““ say one million dollars every day. Continue reading

Lazy Americans Don’t Want $1,100 A Week?

It’s amazing what you can find out by reading news stories. Even when those stories are talking about how corporate farms are moving crops to Mexico because they are able to find labor cheaper there and not have to worry about having their illegal employees deported. Continue reading

Judge Oversteps Authority – Creates Fallacy To Strike Down Law

Never doubt the tenacity of liberal, activist judges when it comes to their own political agendas. They are more than willing to create lies and then base the reasoning for their ruling on those lies. Continue reading

Did John Edwards Teach Obama To See Dead People?

John Edwards made a living pretending to channel the thoughts of dead children while suing doctors. Now apparently he has taught this art to Barack Obama. “On this Memorial Day, as our nation honors is unbroken line of fallen heroes ““ and I see many of them in the audience here today ““ our sense of patriotism is particularly strong.” ““ Barack Obama Continue reading

Stimulus = No Impact Say Majority

Well, I wonder if liberals will listen to this poll since they like to stick their fingers in the wind and see how it is blowing before acting. That is the downfall of a populist agenda, but in this case it might be a good thing. Continue reading

Symbolism Lost

Boy, I tell you ““ there are a lot of people out there that can’t recognize sarcasm and symbolism when it is staring them straight in the face. My column last week (A Hooters Girl In Every Bed) has brought some of the absolute dumbest emails I have ever gotten sent to my mailbox. Continue reading

Government To Dictate Who Can Do What Jobs?

It used to be in America that if you wanted to be a lawyer, a doctor or even a banker that you could be. However, if you were a lawyer who didn’t know the law and lost every case, were a doctor whose patients died more often than not or a banker that made poor investment choices, the market would take care of the problem and you would be liable for malpractice in the courts. We’ve come a long way from that sort of liberty. Continue reading

Friend Asks Why It Takes So Long To Train Iraqis

A friend of mine yesterday (on Memorial Day) asked me a question that was important in her mind. She asked me, “Why are we still in Iraq after all this time? I support our troops and their mission, you know that, but it seems like we have been there a long time to train the Iraqis to stand up for themselves. I don’t think it should be taking this long? Do you?” Continue reading

Durbin, Other Liberals, Continue To Lie About Gas Prices

Liberals want you to believe that it is the oil companies that are gouging you at the pump. Their 8-11 cents on the dollar profit margin is small compared to other industries and considering all the regulations they have to deal with to bring you a product you demand. Then of course there are all the speculators driving up the cost and having to deal with tin horned despots all around the world who are important for no other reason than they sit on deposits of Black Gold. No “Illegitimacy” For Obama Without Michigan and Florida Delegates

I’m going to go out on a limb here and say that someone (probably Rush Limbaugh) must have said something about Barack Obama being an “illegitimate” nominee if he wins the nomination and the votes in Florida and Michigan are not counted at the Democratic Party’s Convention. Continue reading
