Jeremiah Wright Connects With A Whopping 8%

It looks like we have found someone actually less popular than Congress. That someone is Barack Obama’s spiritual advisor, Pastor Jeremiah Wright.

Pastor Jeremiah Wright, who has become part of the national political dialogue in recent days, is viewed favorably by 8% of voters nationwide. A Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey found that 58% have an unfavorable view of the Pastor whose controversial comments have created new challenges for Barack Obama’s Presidential campaign.Gee, no wonder Obama is dumping him like a cheap whore.

What’s more is that despite only 8% saying they had a favorable opinion of the man, 11% said that they would be more likely to vote for Obama because of his statements. So apparently you have some people that don’t like the message but will be more likely to vote for Obama because they don’t like the message?

Just remember, this man was head of a church that, until it was no longer political prudent for Obama, proclaimed on its website that it was dedicated to “black” people. Not people mind you, who are all created equal before the eyes of God, but just “black” people. And they stated such in point after point as to what they believed in. Talk about racism.

And also remember that Obama is a member of this church by his own will and which made race the issue.

I personally would never attend a church that was dedicated to the “white” family and “white” causes and cannot for the life of me understand why anyone would attend a race-based church. And for the life of me I cannot understand how any sane person would dismiss this incident much less even vote for someone that did.
