» Is Ward Churchill Too Dumb To Teach Our Kids?

This week Ward Churchill was fired by the University of Colorado. The university apparently decided that they should finally look into the man that they have allowed to run rampant around their campus and found that this was a man who stole the work of others (plagiarized), concocted events which he later passed off as “history”, and committed other dubious acts of while within the world of academia.

» Jumping To Foregone Conclusions

On Monday I was reading about a study which supposedly shows that American individualism hinders our ability to understand others. Now the counter claim in this study is that collectivist societies (communist, socialist, etc.) help people that live under them understand others better and take into account their “point of view”. This is a polite way of saying, “You damn Americans are the reason there are problems in the world! You don’t understand our point of view!”

» Words Have Power? Bennie Thompson’s Epiphany?

Congressman Bernie Thompson is your typical liberal. He believes in Socialized Medicine, redistribution of wealth programs such as Social Security, government interference with banks and other lenders to enable people who can’t afford loans to obtain them so they can live beyond their means and eventually default on their promises, government dictating what wages companies pay, and many other things beyond the power of the general Welfare clause of Article I, Section 8 of the United States Constitution.

» Throwing Stones From Crony Filled, Glass Houses

I wish I could go just one day without a prominent liberal throwing a stone from their own glass house. When Hillary Clinton said of the commutation of Scooter Libby’s sentence by President Bush, “What we saw today was elevating cronyism over the rule of law. And what we saw today was further evidence that this administration has no regard whatsoever for what needs to be held sacred,” I had to laugh.
