Representative John Murtha has a plan for Iraq. That plan is to prolong the war by denying the troops on the ground support even some of his fellow travelers just months ago said was so desperately needed. That was until President Bush agreed however. Then they changed their minds faster than a patented John Kerry triple flip flop.

America seems locked into a continuous political campaign cycle. Just a few months ago the midterm elections ended. Now we are already watching 2008 presidential hopefuls trip over one another to declare their candidacy, start fundraising, and hurl political campaign slogans.

New York State Senator Carl Kruger really feels with every fiber of his little bleeding heart that government is the solution to all the really pressing problems in society. In particular he thinks that government is the best way to stop stupid people from doing stupid things.

Some people still have a long way to go in judging people based on their merits rather than their skin color. On January 21st, 2007 both the Indianapolis Colts and the Chicago Bears won their respective conference championships to advance to the Super Bowl. I know, some of you may not want to read about sports but hey, it’s my article and I’ll do what I want.

Last weekend, United for Peace and Justice staged a rally in Washington DC to protest the war in Iraq and were backed by the usual left wing Marxist suspects. Lest I be accused of “McCarthyism” by those with their heads firmly planted in the sand, please be aware that the list of supporters of this group and this protest is freely available on United for Peace and Justice’s own website. This list contains more than a few groups who, unlike this front group, are bold enough to freely use the terms “socialist” and “communist” in their names.
