We entered into entangling alliances
We chose the lesser of two evils
We neglected our commitments
We refused to act when given the opportunity
We failed to take terrorism seriously
We thought it could not happen here
We thought oceans protected us
We refused to accept the truth
We wilted when confronted
We cut and ran
We refused to heed the warnings
We tied our own hands
We built our own walls that stopped the dots from being connected
They Died Because…
Some cared more about political power than America
Some were distracted by their own vices
Some believe in tyranny
They Died Because…
They were providing for their families
They had an early meeting
They were simply on the wrong flight that morning
They did not act against the hijackers
They DID stand up bravely and acted against the hijackers
They were Christian
They were Jews
They were not Islamic enough
They refused to succumb to control over their lives
They were Americans
They were free
And most of all they died because evil, darker than you can even imagine does indeed exist and infests this world. Its is an evil that to look it in the face chills one to the bone. It is an evil that demands a seething hatred of those that are not like them. It is an evil that demands that they kill in the name of their false god.
Never forget.
Never retreat.
Never surrender to evil.
It is time for the Eagle to soar.
God Bless America.
And pray that He may have mercy on the souls of our enemies.
Because they are going to damn well need all the help they can get.
